We have been in Business since 2015, making beautiful custom made hand crafted furniture pieces for our very inspired customers. Our focus is on producing Australia's finest selection of timbers from the East Coast of Australia to the furtherest reaches of Australia's amazing West Coast. 

Having lived in Queensland for over 35 years we have come to love the amazing climate in which we can enjoy summer conditions 10 months of the year if not 12 months of the year.   Our inspiration to start S and N Designs seeded from the enjoyment of the outdoors and embracing a culture of spending time with family and friends enjoying life, food, drinks, high quality meats, BBQing, open fire cooking, Spit roast Lambs and Pigs, tours of great food and wine festivals across Australia. Think of materials 
Timber is highly versatile and the ideal option for making bespoke furniture. However, there is a huge range of timbers to choose from.

Will you go for a luxury timber such as American Walnut, or will you choose 
something cheaper.

If you go for the less expensive option, French polishing can give the piece the appearance of a more expensive timber.

Consult experts 
Whoever you choose to manufacture your bespoke timber furniture should have a design team to help you with the final design.

They will be able to produce a more detailed design from your ideas and possibly come up with alternative solutions if you do not know how to fix something.

Once the design has been finalised, the manufacturers should be able to produce exactly what you want, in the materials you have chosen.

To make sure they can, look at their previous work. Most manufacturers will be happy to direct you to pieces of bespoke timber furniture they have produced, as this will show the quality of the work you can expect.
